Research on n-channel organic semiconductors is gaining attention as they are needed for low-power thin-film transistors and photovoltaics. The n-channels conduct electrons and have positive state turn-on voltages enabling the fabrication of complimentary organic circuits with the well-known p-channel organic conductors1. Sigma-Aldrich offers several known and candidate n-channel materials are presented below.
