HPLC systems with four valve caps
Valves controlling
helium sparge, venting, vacuum and solvent delivery are conveniently located
on the front of the cap. All tubing connects to the back of the cap, minimizing
clutter. Uses standard 47mm diameter filter membranes. Available as standard
(PTFE/PP O-rings) or THF-resistant systems (Chemraz O-rings).

Each system includes:
- (1) High-performance HPLC reservoir
- (1) 4-valve cap
- (1) Solvent pickup adapter with PTFE tubing
- (10) 1/4-28 nuts for 1/8in. o.d. tubing
- (10) Ferrules for 1/8in. o.d. tubing
- (2) Vacuum adapters, 1/4-28 to 1/4in. i.d. tubing
- 10ft PTFE tubing, 1/8in. o.d.
- (2) 25m SS filters
- (1) PTFE coated stir bar
- (2) Adapters for 1/4-28 to 1/8in. i.d. tubing (for Waters HPLC
systems with 1/8in. tubing)

Economy HPLC systems with
three valve caps

These systems allow for the sharing of one filtration/degassing
cap assembly (sold separately on next page) with several solvent
reservoirs. A simple cap change is required between the filtration
and sparge/delivery operations. Available as standard (PTFE/PP
O-rings) or THF-resistant systems (Chemraz O-rings).
Each system includes:
- (1) High-performance HPLC reservoir
- (1) 3-valve delivery cap
- (8) 1/4-28 nuts for 1/8in. tubing
- (8) Ferrules for 1/8in. o.d. tubing
- 10ft PTFE tubing 1/8in. o.d.

Not recommended for THF or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Filtration/degassing cap

Glass-filled PTFE construction with a quick turn
cap to secure funnel or solvent pick up adapter. Supplied complete
with 47mm fritted glass membrane support. For use with solvent pickup
adapter (see below).

Solvent pickup adapter with valve

This all glass adapter is designed specifically
for use with the filtration/ degassing cap (above) and all Aldrich
HPLC solvent reservoir systems. This adapter holds a membrane
filter securely in place while providing for continuous in-line
filtration of mobile phase. Supplied complete with PTFE connector
and 3ft of 1/4in. PTFE tubing and 4mm PTFE stopcock.

HPLC membrane filters
- Nylaflo - nylon, for general-purpose applications, offers
good chemical resistance with low extractables
- PTFE - PTFE on PP support for better stability and easier
handling, chemically inert for aggressive organics, hydrophobic. Designed
to perform at high temperatures (up to 145°C)
