For solvents
heavier than water, stopcock is open and A is not used. For
solvents lighter than water, stopcock is closed and A is
inserted into B; condensate drips into and through diffuser
tube A to the bottom of the extractor. PTFE-stopcock.
S.T. top and bottom joints with a flat flange on
the removable top. Separate inner glass tube has a 37mm perforated
bottom for support of filter paper.
The improved design of Ace extractor condensers permits
greater condensing capabilities. Cycling rates may be doubled over conventional
extractors. Apparatus includes extractor body, condenser, and flask.
