System 45 is an integrated system of flasks, glassware components, and patented PTFE adapters that incorporate the best in design, safety, and modern materials. System 45 is compatible with existing glassware, and can be phased-in for immediate benefits with minimal replacement expense.

STEP 1 • Select Flasks

Ground-glass joints and glass stoppers have been replaced by wide i.d. screw thread openings and PTFE-lined caps on System 45 flasks for easy access to contents and increased safety. Choose from round-bottom, Kjeldahl, pear-shaped, and straight-sided types.

STEP 2 • Select PTFE Adapters

All connections to System 45 flasks are made with patented PTFE adapters. A simple twist of the adapter cap results in a gas-tight, 100% freeze-proof seal without grease. The S.T. joint adapters permit the use of existing lab glassware with System 45 flasks.
