Dear Cell Culture Customer,
The facilities devoted to cell culture production world-wide are now operating under the SAFC Biosciences business unit (Read the SAFC Biosciences press release). Sigma-Aldrich Cell Culture products will continue to be produced by this business unit, but will continue to carry the Sigma-Aldrich product label. In addition, some quality testing for these products will be performed at different locations within the SAFC Biosciences facilities network. Quality Control performance testing for all Sigma-Aldrich media has been converted to an MTT cell-based proliferation assay following validation of the testing. Products not falling within the media product line will continue to be tested according to established standard operating procedures.
