Sƒ21 cells grown in TiterHigh Sf Insect Medium and the leading competitor's medium were infected with a recombinant baculovirus expressing b-galactosidase. Cells were infected at a cell concentration of 1x106 cells per mL,
with a multiplicity of infection of 5 virus particles per cell. Enzyme levels were measured at days 2, 3, and 4 post-infection. As is demonstrated, TiterHigh Sf beats the competition in
terms of per cell baculovirus productivity. |
