The SpyLine Plant mRNA Capture Kits are configured three different ways: for mRNA capture with no RT-PCR enzymes provided, for mRNA capture with RT-PCR enzymes provided, and for mRNA capture with SYBR® Green RT-PCR enzymes provided.

The RT-PCR enzyme mixes that are provided in Product SL0020 and SL0030 have been optimized for use with the SpyLine protocol. However, it is likely that enzyme mixes from quality manufacturers other than Sigma will perform similarly.
Assays that use TaqMan® primers and probes should be performed using SL0010 and Sigma's Quantitative RT-PCR ReadyMix™ (Prod. # D7440).
