Selected entries will be uploaded to a gallery on sigma.com/lookcloser along with the entrant’s name and location. Posting to the gallery does not indicate that the photograph is eligible for or has been awarded one of the prizes as non-winning entrants will also be posted. Entrants may visit the website often to view the images or photographs selected for the gallery.
Awards: First prize - digital photograph frame. Second prize winner - digital photograph key chain. Third prize winner - Sigma Life Science photograph/memo holder. The persons who submit the first 50 entries received by Sponsor at the address above will receive a Sigma Life Science® answer cube and will have their entry included in the judging.
Reservations: Entrants must prior to receiving an award certify in writing that the image or photograph is original, was created by entrant and that all ownership rights in and to the image or photograph belong to entrant. Failure to make such certification satisfactory in form and content to Sponsor shall void the award to that entrant. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. No compensation will be offered for any image or photograph entered in the contest or used by Sponsor. Submission of an entry grants the Sponsor the right to publish, use, adapt, edit and /or modify such entry in any way, in any and all media, without limitations and without consideration or acknowledgment to the entrant; the irrecoverable assignment and transfer to Sponsor of any and all rights, title and interest in the entry including copyright; in the event that entrant is selected, the grant of an unconditional right to use the name of entrant of the selected image or photograph for any and all publicity; and, the agreement to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges.
