Thank you for participating in the stain contest. Entries were judged on the clarity of presentation, composition, proper structure relationship, stain quality and scientific interest. First, second and third place winners in each category will be notified ed by U.S. mail, e-mail or by phone. Microphotographs of the award winning slides will be posted on the Sigma-Aldrich website. In addition to the prizes ($200 for first place, $100 for second and a 256MB USB 2.0 Flash Drive for third), winners will be announced in a press release and will receive a certificate suitable for framing. Thanks to everyone who submitted slides and helped to make this contest a success.
