"We evaluated the issue of allele drop out which is very critical when dealing with single cells. We used the gender system, which we felt would show true results from known samples (males and females). We tested 18 known samples of male single fibroblasts and found no allele drop outs. The result is excellent. It shows that the single cell WGA kit amplifies both alleles in the amelogenin gene."
