 SAFC Buchs is located in Buchs, Switzerland and encompasses 402,400 ft2 of manufacturing space. There are multiple production facilities within this ISO 9002 certified site that are responsible for the production of over 4,000 compounds.
The company recently committed to a $5.4 million cGMP production expansion to provide additional improvements in material and personnel flow and expand cGMP storage. The expansion is expected to be on line in the second quarter, 2008.
SAFC Buchs has a long history of producing high-quality precursors & actives. The plant specializes in complex, multi-step synthesis to 1,600 liters and low temperature reactions (-60°C) up to 400 liters. A broad range of production technologies and multi-purpose equipment offers batch sizes from grams to tons.
This facility operates under cGMP, certified by the Swiss authorities.
