SAFC
is the world's leading product and service supplier for Cell Culture R&D
solutions. These include novel animal component-free media (for CHO, hybridoma,
HEK 293 cells, stem cells) for protein or antibody expression, gene therapy
and tissue engineering applications. Our track record of proven performance,
combined with state-of-the-art R&D facilities, cutting edge manufacturing
technology and dedicated professionals clearly demonstrate that you can depend
on us for high quality Cell Culture products and solutions to ensure your continued
success.
FDA-registered and cGMP-compliant, SAFC's cell culture facilities are designed
specifically for the large-scale production of cell culture products:
including
powder media, liquid media and custom
manufacturing. |
| |
Powder manufacturing area features state-of-the art air classifier milling (ACM) and verticle ribbon blending technology in a validated continuous flow process that provides consistency, flexibility, speed and quality assurance that is not acheivable with other technologies. |
| |
ACM technology permits tighter control of particle sizes and rapid, continuous processing of powders. |
| |
Verticle ribbon blending provides flexibility in batch sizes from 40-4000 kg, and is validated in blending of trace components to the ppm range. |
| |
Liquid manufacturing area includes dedicated space for custom liquid formulation |
| |
Dedicated custom manufacturing and bag filling areas that are supported by two class 100 cleanrooms |
| |
Up to 64 bags can be filled simultaneously to reduce handling, which results in shorter lead times and faster delivery |
 |
|
|
| |
Media batches up to 10,000 liters |
| |
Complete line of bags available, including 10 L, 20 L, 50 L, 100 L, 200 L, and 500 L |
| |
Complete traceability and documentation is provided to assure our customers of consistent performance in the final product |
