SAFC Pharma™ - Pharmorphix™ Services was formed in July 2003 to provide a unique package of solid-form services and research to the R&D sector of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
In August 2006, after its purchase by SAFC, the company became a part of the SAFC Pharma business segment.
It brings together a team of highly experienced scientists who have already worked together for many years. At Cambridge Discovery Chemistry, the core team was one of the first to evaluate the benefits of automated experimentation in the solid-form field.
Later, this same group worked as in-house service providers for Massachusetts-based drug-discovery company Millennium Pharmaceuticals, and today it forms the nucleus of the growing team at SAFC Pharmorphix.
SAFC Pharma™ - Pharmorphix™ Services moved into its current premises on the world-renowned Cambridge Science Park site in October 2003, and already lists major US and European biotech and pharmaceutical businesses amongst its clients.
SAFC Pharma™ - Pharmorphix™ Services was founded with the sole focus of improving solid-form understanding and developing an unrivalled service offering to the wider pharmaceutical industry. Having already grown since launch, significant expansion and investment are planned from 2005.
