Hydrogen Generators

Hydrogen has two primary uses in a GC lab: as a column carrier gas and as the fuel source for FIDs (flame ionization detectors). Hydrogen generators are not only more cost-effective than hydrogen cylinders, they are much safer. Only a small volume of hydrogen is present at any given time, and internal controls shut the system off if a downstream leak is detected. We offer five models of Parker hydrogen gas generators that span a range of flow rates. As the world-wide helium supply tightens, analysts are looking for a replacement. Hydrogen is a viable alternative to helium, and the choice of these hydrogen generators makes sense from both safety and financial standpoints.
