Whole Air Sampling (bags, bulbs, bottles)

Gas sampling bulbs and bags are used to sample permanent gases that cannot be trapped onto an adsorbent.
Sampling bulbs are made of glass and are equipped with 2 stopcock valves for sample introduction. Tedlar® bags are a less fragile alternative to glass containers - Tedlar is an inert and low-permeating polyvinylfluoride (PVC) material manufactured by Dupont®. Glass Bulbs and Tedlar bags include a septum to take sample aliquots for analysis or to introduce compounds, e.g. internal standards, into the sample.
Impingers & Bubblers allow the purging of an air sample through an adsorbent solution. An impinger has a glass tip while a bubbler is equipped with a frit to disperse the air sample into the adsorbent solution.
