Postcolumn Reactors

Increase detection sensitivity for amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, pesticides, inorganic ions, and other samples.

The heated reactor cartridge in the ASI Model 310 Postcolumn Reactor Module mixes reagent with column effluent efficiently and with minimum peak dispersion. Unlike conventional PTFE tube coil reactors, the rugged reactor cartridge can be used at pressures up to 3000 psi, at 150 °C, without rupturing. We recommend using a low volume static mixer, such as the binary input housing/mixer cartridges listed with the Model 310 module. Install the mixer in line, prior to the reactor cartridge, to combine the reagent with the column effluent. A pump is required for delivering reagent to the system.
