Precleaned Sampling Vials

Features and Benefits:
Cleaned for water sampling according to US EPA 40 CFR 136, Guidelines for Establishing Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants. These vials are assembled with open-top screw caps and specially designed septa.
Each of the vials is cleaned according to US EPA Proocol B. The cleaning procedure follows:
  • Wash containers in hot water using laboratory grade non-phosphate detergent.
  • Rinse three times with copious amounts of tap water to remove detergent.
  • Rinse three times with ASTM Type 1 organic-free water.
  • Oven-dry containers.
  • Allow containers to cool to room temperature in an enclosed contaminant-free environment.
  • Cap the containers.

The 40 mL EPA vials are supplied with a Certificate of Analysis and a package of labels to use to identify the contents of your sample. The package of vials is shrink wrapped after cleaning to make sure that the vials arrive to you as clean as possilble.
The 2-22 mL vial are supplied with a Certificate of Conformity and a package of 100 labels.
