Conductance Standard Solutions
Electrical conductivity can be used to monitor the quality of
- surface waters
- process waters in water supply plants and
- waste waters
The International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) specifies in guideline ISO7888 a method for the measurement of electrical conductivity of all types of water. For this method, 3 conductance standard A, B, C solutions are required. Fluka's conductance standard solutions are prepared according to this guideline. Furthermore, the conductivity measuring equipment is calibrated with standard solutions which are traceable to NIST standards.
