Products displaying the emblem are the only ones for which the quality of the ATCC ingredient can be properly assured.
ATCC does not endorse products including ATCC ingredients from companies that are not members of the LDP program. RT RapidCheck™ products utilize the proprietary Vitroid™ technology to stabilize bacterial organisms in a suspended state with very minimal viability loss. Environmental Matrix Reference Materials
A certified reference material is defined as a reference material, characterized by a metrologically valid procedure for one or more specified property, its associated uncertainty and a statement of metrological traceability.
RTC is accredited to certify CRMs and has become the world leader in the production and certification of soil and sediment Certified Reference Materials. All CRMs are either natural matrix materials or natural matrices in which selected analytes have been fortified to give the resultant CRM an analyte profile that meets the needs of the market.
In certification of the RTC CRMs, data developed from multi-laboratory analysis is supported by in-house data, and a robust statistical program is used. Most CRMs are method specific; the certificate shows a confidence interval, uncertainty, prediction value, and expanded uncertainty, in addition to the mean value and standard deviation from the mean.
Certified Reference Material development started at RTC more than 20 years ago. RTC has collected soils and solid wastes from contaminated sites around the United States to produce real-world CRMs for the USEPA. Since then, the product range has grown and now includes a wide range of natural-matrix CRMs. RTC Environmental Matrix Reference Materials are certified reference materials (CRMs) manufactured and certified in accordance to ISO Guide 34:2009 and ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

About RTC
RT Corp was incorporated in Laramie, Wyoming in 1988. The principal business of the corporation is the manufacture and distribution of Certified Reference Materials (CRMs), Quality Control (QC) Samples, and Proficiency Testing (PT) Samples. Originally focused in the environmental sector, RT Corp has since expanded its focus to include the pharmaceutical sector. Since its inception, RT Corp has become world famous for its production of "Real World" CRMs and fortified matrices CRMs. RT Corp was one of the original Proficiency Test providers recognized by the US EPA.
RTC is located in Laramie, Wyoming on the edge of town at the confluence of Interstate 80 and Highway 287, a major North/South and East/West artery. Laramie is a community of 25,000 located in the Southeast corner of the state, 130 miles North of Denver, 60 miles North of Fort Collins and 45 miles West of Cheyenne. Laramie is also the home of the University of Wyoming, which provides a readily available and highly educated labor base.
Since RT Corp's inception, the company has strategically expanded to maximize efficiency while minimizing overhead. In 2004 RT Corp expanded into its new facility. The RTC Campus is situated on 4 ½ acres spread between 3 buildings. The new building provides an additional 21,600 sq ft of space. RT Corp expects to bring on-line additional laboratory and manufacturing space to meet increasing demand.
