High-Precision Custom Milligram Filling Robot

Automated filling of solid compounds or mixtures into vials

The Powdernium Workstation or "Autodose" machine at our production site in Switzerland is a new state-of-the-art robotic system. It is used for highly accurate, customer-specific filling of solids. Single compounds or mixtures in milligram-range can be automatically filled into vials.

Various types of vials are available to suit our customer's needs. Custom labeling and kit design complete this "package deal."

Capabilities of the Powdernium Workstation Robot

• Compatible with a wide range of materials and physical properties, including low-density to free flowing, cohesive, micronized, etc.
• Single compound or mixtures (up to 12 compounds) can be filled into multiple containers
• Filling into vials up to 5 mL
• Dispense amounts are typically 1-500 mg per bottle, up to 1,000 mg possible
• Consistent and accurate filling, with RSD between 1-5 % depending on flow properties of powder; typical example: 0.1 to 1 mg
• Throughput is normally 20 seconds to 2 minutes per dispense, depending on powder flow properties and required accuracy
• Series from min. 50 up to 500 bottles per run, over 100,000 bottles per year
• The use of standard 96-well plates (height approx. 10 mm) is an installed option
