The 5 µm Fused-Core particle outperforms 3 µm and 5 µm totally porous particles under all conditions.
 
As a result, Ascentis Express 5 µm columns outperform popular 3 µm and 5 µm columns (based on totally porous particles), which are currently used in most HPLC systems.
