Vegitone Media

No more problems with animal derived compounds in media. Approved new media with plant peptones and synthetic detergents for all kind of microorganisms.

In the Analytix Issue 3 (2005) we wrote about plant peptones as a good alternative to animal derived peptones. Meanwhile we can provide you a nice range of approved dehydrated media with plant peptones and synthetic detergent as replacement for bile salts. We can assure that this media are free from BSE and GMO! As well we have seen higher recovery rates and better growth performance with plant peptones. The new developed media are just a choice of some different kind of applications and microorganisms. If there is demand for other important formulations we are open to check the possibility to provide you a new composition. Because of less import and export problems and costs we can provide you also a lower price for this media than for the equivalent with animal derived components.
