SPE - 3M Empore™ Products
SPE Cartridges
|
|
|
Empore SPE™ cartridges are packed with a PTFE membrane enmeshed with SPE particles. Layered above the SPE membrane is a polypropylene pre-filter that prevents particulates from reaching the underlying membrane. The dense particle packing and uniform distribution within the Empore membane offer outstanding extraction efficiency and reproducibility.
Features & Benefits:
- Reduced sample and elution volumes
- Reduced time for eluate evaporation
- Increased sampling throughput
- No channeling effects
- High and reproducible recoveries

| Notes: It is recommended to optimize the volume of elution solvent to ensure that the minimum volume is used that will elute the anlayte reproducibly from the sorbent phase. Due to the disruption of ionic interactions, which can be stronger than reversed-phase interactions, slightly more elution solvent volume may be required for mixed phase disks than for a reversed-phase sorbent. |
