Moisture Test Kit

This ready to use Test Kit is intended to determine the amount of water in various samples, such as in organic solvents. It includes all the equipment and reagents needed in one packing. The individual reagents can be ordered separately.

The HYDRANAL^®- Moisture Test Kit allows to determine the amount of water in colorless liquid samples. This ready to use Test Kit can be inserted on site, for example, directly at a solvent or fuel tank, and it is likewise suitable for use in laboratories that do not have a Karl Fischer titrator.

The HYDRANAL^®- Moisture Test Kit includes all equipment and reagents needed in one packing. These are:

• 34732 HYDRANAL^®-Titrant E
• 34730 HYDRANAL^®-Solvent E
• 34813 HYDRANAL^®-Standard 5.00
• A syringe to measure out the sample.
• A bottle acting as titration vessel.

How to use the HYDRANAL^®- Moisture Test Kit?

• Determine the titre of HYDRANAL^®-Titrant Component with HYDRANAL^®-Standard 5.00.
• With a syringe add HYDRANAL^®-Titrant Component to HYDRANAL^®-Solvent E until the color changes from yellowish to slightly brownish. Now the system is equilibrated to analyse the sample.
• With the syringe supplied add a defined amount of sample.
• Add HYDRANAL^®-Titrant Component with the scaled syringe until the colour changes to brownish again. The content of water can be calculated from the volume of HYDRANAL^®-Titrant Component, the titre and the sample size.
• Several samples can be titrated one after another in the same vessel.
