To scale up from a small 23 by 53 mm 11-grams cartridge to a larger cartridge, simply turn the handle on the VersaFlash station counterclockwise and pull it out to release the small cartridge. Then loosen the toggle bolt on the upper sealing platen to release it, allowing you to insert the larger cartridge. Once the cartridge is inserted, lower the sealing platen so that it rests on the cartridge and retighten the toggle bolt to secure it. To process the sample simply turn the handle clockwise, sealing the cartridge into the station.
