The fittings on the cartridge end caps are female luer fittings; therefore, it is very easy to attach a syringe pre-filled with the sample into the end cap. Then simply inject the sample onto the cartridge and remove the syringe. Be careful when direct-loading a sample with a syringe when the cartridge has been preconditioned with solvent, as the sample will displace solvent in the cartridge.
