How to use the Order Products page:

There are three different methods you can choose to place orders once you are a registered and logged-in user: Shopping Basket, Product Shelf or Order. You can access these three methods from the "Order Center" page clicking the method by which you would like to place your order(s).

NOTE: Do not use your browser's BACK button within any of the ordering methods. (Use the provided links to navigate within the system. Use of the BACK key may erase or duplicate your order.)

You may use multiple ordering methods to fill your shopping basket. Therefore, if you would like to begin placing your order using the Product Search and then add some additional products using the Order Form, you do have that freedom.

Shopping Basket

The Shopping Basket method is commonly used in many web sites. The concept is similar to shopping at your favorite grocery store with a shopping cart.

The shopping basket method is simply adding products to your order form from searching the catalog. You may search the catalog from any main brand page, custom view page, "Order Center" page or "Search Center" page.


  1. To begin searching the catalog, simply enter the information to be searched into the text field.
  2. Choose from the "Search Scope:" as to what method you would like to search by. (i.e. Full Text, Product Name, Product Number or CAS Number) For a brief description of these options, go to the Product Search Help Page.
  3. Press the search key and the system will search for that product(s) and display the result.
  4. Click on the Product Number and the screen will display any product information related to the item. If you are a registered user and you are logged in, package sizes and pricing will appear for the product, along with an "Add to Basket" button to order products.
  5. Change the "Quantity" field with the number of pack sizes you would like to order for any particular size and click "Add to basket". After you have selected the first item you can continue to search for more items or complete the transaction.
  6. After you are finished selecting the items, click on "View Basket" and you will be brought to your Shopping Basket. At this point you can, modify the quantity, remove items from your basket, Continue Shopping, Re-Calculate Total, Suspend Order, Cancel Order, Print Preview your order, or Submit your order.

NOTE: You must select a package size to add a product to your basket.

Product Shelf

The Product Shelf method allows you to keep a personalized "shelf" of commonly ordered products, including package size and quantity, from which you may quickly place orders. You can maintain your shelf by selecting the "Product Shelf" button on the Order Center page.


NOTE:You cannot place an order from a product shelf unless you have first created one. For instructions on how to create one, read the instructions below.


To order from a previously created product shelf:

  1. Select the "Product Shelf" method to take you to your product shelf.
  2. If needed, you can change the quantity at this time.
  3. Select the products to order by clicking on the "Add to Basket" box next to the item you wish to order.
  4. After selecting the products you wish to order, you will be brought to your Shopping Basket where you can continue to shop or submit your order.

To build your own Product Shelf:

One of the innovative methods of placing orders through our web site is the "Product Shelf" method. Any person who is a registered user may create a list of up to 30 commonly ordered products. Products can be added or removed from the Product Shelf through this option. This list will be stored by the system. An order may be created by clicking on as many of the products as you wish, choosing the appropriate quantities and clicking on the "Add to Basket" button.

Remember you can only order using the Product Shelf if you have created one!


  1. To begin searching the catalog, simply enter the information to be searched into the text field.
  2. Choose from the "Search Scope:" as to what method you would like to search by. (i.e. Full Text, Product Name, Product Number or CAS Number) For a brief description of these options, go to the Product Search Help Page.
  3. Press the search key and the system will search for that product(s) and display the result.
  4. Click on the Product Number and the screen will display any product information related to the item. If you are a registered user and you are logged in, package sizes and pricing will appear for the product.
  5. Enter a quantity in the "Quantity" field with the number of pack sizes you would like to add to your shelf.
  6. Click on the "Add to Shelf" button located above the pricing and availability information for the product and you will get a pop-up window that states "Products(s) successfully added to Shelf". For a new search, click the Search Center link on the top banner of our site. You may also select "Add to Basket", Get Availability", "View Basket", or "View Shelf".

Create Order

There are two options available under "Order" which allow you to save your order to be submitted at a later time. You may save your order as either a Shopping Basket or as a Shopping List. To activate these features, click the "Save Order" button in your Shopping Basket once you have received pricing and availability for your products. Fill in the required fields and choose either to save the order as a "Shopping Basket" or as a "Shopping List."


If you save your order as a Shopping Basket, you will save the items in your basket along with the Shipping, Billing, and any Payment Method information you have entered.


If you save your order as a Shopping List, you will only save the products in your basket. The List will NOT contain your Shipping, Billing, or any Payment information that you have modified or entered.


How to Activate a Saved Shopping Basket

To activate a saved Shopping Basket, you will need to login to our site and access the Order Center. There wou will see a button called "Saved Baskets/Lists". Click on the button and a page will appear displaying the following information:


  • The Basket Name.
  • Basket Comments.
  • The date the order was saved or last modified.
  • How many items are in the shopping basket.
  • Action: View, Load or Delete.

To activate your order, click on the Action "Load". This will load the order in a new Shopping Basket. Once the page is displayed, click "Recalculate" to activate the basket. From here you can add more products and/or complete the order.


How to Activate a Saved Shopping List

To activate a saved Shopping List, you will need to login to our site and access the Order Center. Once inside the Order Center, click on Order and modify your Shipping and Billing Address information if necessary. Once inside an empty Shopping Basket, click on the "Load from Save" button and a page will appear displaying the following information:


  • The Basket Name.
  • Basket Comments.
  • The date the order was saved or last modified.
  • How many items are in the shopping basket.
  • Action: View, Load or Delete.

To activate your list, click on the Action "Load". This will load the list in your Shopping Basket. Once the page is displayed, click "Recalculate" to activate the basket. From here you can add more products and/or complete the order.
