The equation used to determine the degree of hydration for products 233706 and 204862 is the following. ((Molecular weight of Metal * Number of Metal Ions) - (% of metal in product as decimal * anhydrous weight of product)) / (% of metal in product as decimal * 18) Note: 18 is the molecular weight of water.
