APTMS can be multilayered on SiOx substrates by a layer by layer self assembly.1 APTMS has also been used as a silane coupling agent on silver nanoparticles.2

General description

(3-Aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APTMS) is an aminosilane which is used in silanization processes1 as a silane coupling agent. It functionalizes substrates with alkoxysilane molecules.2
