Description
Application
Nafion® is a perfluorinated ion-exchange membrane which has a wide variety of commercial uses. The acidic (hydrogen ion) form and derivatives are solid, superacid catalysts useful in a wide variety of synthetic applications.1
Surface that is shiny and smooth must be installed facing the cathode.
General description
A ′bimembrane′ with one layer having equivalent weight 1,500 and thickness 0.001 in., and the other layer having equivalent weight 1,100 and thickness 0.005 in.
