Description

General description

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are chemically modified with dodecanethiol to prevent the formation of aggregations. Functionalized silver nanoparticles are essentially used to reinforce polymer composites.

Application

Dispersion of AgNPs inhibits bond formation between fullerene and a bisporphyrin. Effect of AgNPs in decreasing the binding strength of a non-covalent system of pthalocyanine fulleropyrrolidine has been investigated.
