Per the supplier for product 703605, it has been developed with a range of more active and selective catalysts with reduced metal loadings designed for the O-debenzylation of benzyl protected alcohols and acids, N-debenzylation of amines and amides and Cbz (carbamate) type protection of amines.

Commonly used solvents for N-debenzylation are Alcohols (+H+), ethyl acetate, and acetic acid.
What are the common solvents for O-debenzylation when using Product 703605, Deprotection Kit I for N-O debenzylation?
Commonly used solvents for O-debenzylation are THF, ethanol, ethyl acetate, and acetic acid. Reaction rates were fastest in THF, slightly slower in ethanol and ethyl acetate, and slowest in acetic acid. For less active catalysts, ethanol was a poor solvent choice due to limited substrate solubility.
What are the recommended reaction conditions when using Product 703605, Deprotection Kit I for N-O debenzylation?  
N-Debenzylation reactions occur best at low pressures (1-10 bar), at a temperature between 30-100ºC where the increase of temperature from 50°C to 70°C increases the rate by a factor of 3. The recommendations for N-debenzylation have a pressure of 1-10 bar and a temperature range of 25-50ºC. However, a variety of solvents, temperatures, pressures, and catalyst loadings should be evaluated to arrive at an optimized set of reaction conditions.
