How can the trityl group be removed from 86343 TentaGel™ HL-S-Trityl?
The trityl group can be removed with 95 percent TFA (trifluoroacetic acid). This will generate a free sulfhydryl (-SH) group. We do not have details on the reaction (time, temperature amount of TFA to use) from the original manufacturer.
For Product 86343 TentaGel™ HL-S-Trityl, what is the best way to deprotect the sulfur (that is, to remove the trityl group)?
