General description

The Aldrich Spectral Viewer is an electronic reference book on CD-ROM that contains thousands of spectra from the Aldrich spectral libraries. This easy-to-use software program is more powerful than a printed book, allowing text and data field searching and the manipulation, printing, and exporting of spectra.
Currently, we offer one FT-IR library (over 11,000 compounds), two FT-NMR libraries (over 15,000 compounds), and one ATR-IR library (over 18,000 compounds) to suit your needs. The libraries can be used individually or can be combined to create a powerful, electronic reference. A single user interface handles IR, NMR, and ATR-IR spectra, simplifying the use of the software. In addition, the Spectral Viewer is expandable so that when new spectral libraries are released, they can be easily added to the software. A student/instructional version is also available with a limited library of FT-NMR, FT-IR, and ATR-IR spectra. The demonstration version is also available with a complete version of the software and a small demonstration database of FT-NMR, FT-IR, and ATR-IR spectra.

Other Notes

The Spectral Viewer demonstration version contains a small database of compounds with FT-IR and/or FT-NMR spectra to demonstrate the programs functions and insure the examples in the tutorial operate correctly, but is otherwise identical to the full version.
