Description

Features and Benefits

Red solid. Cell-permeable acetoxymethyl ester (AM) derivative of Fluo-3FF with spectral properties similar to the parent compound. The same fluorescent properties and similar applications as FLUO-3, but has a lower affinity for calcium, and is insensitive to magnesium.

Other Notes

Cell permeable probe for fluorescence techniques: it has a lower affinity to calcium than Fluo-3 and no affinity to magnesium; abs.: λmax 462 nm; em.: λmax526 nm
