Application

Atto 610 belongs to a new generation of fluorescent labels invented by ATTO-TEC. The dye is designed for application in the area of life science, e.g. labeling of DNA, RNA or proteins. Characteristic features of the label are strong absorption, high fluorescence quantum yield, high photostability, good water solubility, and very little triplet formation. Atto 610 is a pH sensitive product. While practically stable up to pH 8.5, it slowly degrades at higher pH. Biotin conjugates can be used in applications like ELISA or immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, flow cytometry and others, to identify streptavidin, avidin, or extravidin-conjugates.
