Enzyme in vertebrates which catabolizes S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine.

Unit Definition

One unit will hydrolyze 1.0 nanomole of S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine to adenosine and L-homocysteine per min at pH 7.2 at 37 °C.

Physical form

Solution in 25 mM Tris, pH 7.4, containing 1 mM dithiothreitol, 1 mM EDTA, and 20% glycerol.
