Application

This enzyme is not specific for 5′-AMP. It deaminates adenosine at approx. 50% of the rate with 5′-AMP.

Unit Definition

One unit will deaminate 1.0 μmole of 5′-AMP to 5′-IMP per min at pH 6.5 at 25 °C.
