General description

APAF1 is a cytoplasmic apoptotic protease activating factor that funcitons in the formation of the apoptosome upon binding to cytochrome C to cleave caspase 9.

Apaf-1 is the mammalian equivalent of Ced-4. It forms a complex with cytochrome c and dATP that cleaves procaspase 9 to form activated caspase 9.

Rabbit Anti-Apaf1, N-Terminal antibody binds to human and mouse Apaf1.

Physical form

Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide.


Rabbit Anti-Apaf1, N-Terminal antibody can be used for western blot (0.5μg/ml) and microarray applications.
