Anti-Human IgG (Fc specific)-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody is suitable for use in ELISA and western blot at 1:5000 dilutions . The product can also be used for dot blot (1:40,000) and immunohistochemistry (1:150 using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections).
Human IgGs are glycoprotein antibodies that contain two equivalent light chains and a pair of identical heavy chains. IgGs have four distinct isoforms, ranging from IgG1 to IgG4. These antibodies regulate immunological responses to allergy and pathogenic infections. IgGs have also been implicated in complement fixation and autoimmune disorders 2,3. Anti-Human IgG (Fc specific)-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody is specific for human IgG and human IgG, Fc fragment. The product does not react with human IgG, Fab fragment, light chains, IgA, and IgM. Additionally, the antibody does not bind to mouse and rat IgG.
