Application

Anti-Human IgE ε-chain specific-Peroxidase antibody is suitable for use in peptide arrays , immunoelectrophoresis (1:8), dot blot (1:1,000) and chemiluminescent western blot (1:10,000). The product can also be used in Ouchterlony double diffusion.

Applications in which this antibody has been used successfully, and the associated peer-reviewed papers, are given below.
Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (1 paper)

Detection of chimeric IgE was done by ELISA using HRP-conjugated goat anti-human IgE antibody at a 1:10000 dilution.

General description

IgEs are glycoprotein antibodies that regulate immunological responses to allergies and infections. These immunoglobulins have been implicated in mediating Type I hypersensitivity reactions . Elevated IgE levels have been associated with hyper IgE syndrome and allergic asthma. Anti-Human IgE ε-chain specific-Peroxidase antibody binds to human IgE as against human IgG, and Bence Jones κ and λ myeloma proteins.
