Biochem/physiol Actions

Calmodulin (CaM) is a calcium-binding messenger protein found in all eukaryotic cells. CaM plays an important role in stabilization of structural intermediates and precise positioning of FMN domain. It activates FMN domain to have a flexible movement between the reductase and oxygenase domains. It also helps in rapid electron transfer in the homodimer of eNOS.
