Description

Immunogen

synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the region that contains serines 33 and 37 of human β-catenin.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.

Specificity

The antibody is inhibited more efficiently by the pSer³⁷ peptide than by the pSer³³peptide and is not inhibited by the nonphosphorylated peptide. It does not detect the unphosphorylated or the Ser³³ phosphorylated protein and does not recognize phosphorylated plakoglobin.
