rat cytochrome P450 proteins.
Antigen Background
Cytochrome P450 1A2 encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
Specificity
The antibody recognizes specifically human and rat cytochrome P450 1A2 and does not cross-react with cytochrome P450 1A1 or 1B1.
