Description

Immunogen

recombinant human I-309

General description

I-309 (CCL-1) is a member of CC chemokine family, secreted by monocytes/macrophages and T lymphocytes and acts as chemoattractant to dendritic cells, neutrophils, B and T lymphocytes, macrophages, basophils and neutrophils. I-309 exclusively binds to CCR8 receptor and activates the RAS/MAPK pathway. I-309 is also known to play important role in angiogenesis and tumoral processes and in development of thymocytes. In murine thymic lymphoma cells, anti-apoptotic and proliferative role of I-309 was observed. It is also implicated in recruitment of leukocytes and inhibition of CCR8-mediated HIV infection
Anti-I-309 antibody is specific for human I-309.

Physical form

Lyophilized from a 0.2 μm filtered solution in phosphate buffered saline

Application

Anti-I-309 antibody may be for immunoblotting at a working antibody concentration of 1-2 μg/ml. Antibody concentration of 0.5-1 μg/ml may be used for ELISA.
