General description
LB Agar plates with 100 μg/ml ampicillin
1.0% Tryptone, 0.5% yeast extract, 1.0% NaCl, 1.5% agar
10 plates per sleeve - 20-25 mL per plate.
***The antibiotics used in this product are only potent for the duration of the shelf life, which is 1-2 months*** Be sure to use the plates during this time period to ensure the antibiotics are effective!!
Application
LB Agar Ampicillin plates are pre-poured agar plates (100 mm) for the selection and propagation of Escherichia coli strains that are ampicillin resistant or harbor plasmids conferring ampicillin resistance.
