Catalyzes the NADH-dependent reduction of nitrate to nitrite.

General description

Formerly E.C. 1.6.6.1

Unit Definition

One unit will reduce 1.0 μmole of nitrate to nitrite per minute in a NADH system at pH 7.3 at 30 °C.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M EDTA, 50 mM MOPS, pH 7.0, containing 50% glycerol and 1 mg per mL BSA
