Description

Immunogen

nicotinic acetylcholine receptors from purified chick brain.

Physical form

Solution in 10 mM phosphate buffered saline, containing 10 mM sodium azide.

Specificity

Recognizes an epitope with the sequence 91-100 of the α5 subunit of nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. Binds to denatured α5 subunit of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. Does not bind to native α5 subunits.
