Description

Biochem/physiol Actions

T3 is a thyroid hormone that increases rates of proteins synthesis, stimulates the breakdown of cholesterol, and effects embryonic development. In cell culture, T3 regulates cell differentiation and protein expression.

Package size based on 3,3′,5-Triiodo-L-thyronine sodium salt content; vial may also contain inert salts, such as sodium chloride

Reconstitution

To prepare 20 μg/ml stock solution: add 1 ml 1 N NaOH; gently swirl to dissolve; add 49 ml sterile medium.
