General description

With cover, sleeve valve, silicone O-ring, and plate. Grooved flange is sealed with O-ring; vacuum is applied via sleeve valve, that should be lubricated with silicone vacuum grease for a better seal and to prevent freezing. Made of soda-lime glass which is not heat-shock resistant.
